Pilot Pen Landscapes & Trees will focus on creating some wonderful, simple landscapes and trees that offer dramatic results. I have LOVED creating nature bits with the Parallel Pen and want to share this fun option with you. I am offering this live session with a recording available post-class if you are unable to attend in person as well as for viewing at your convenience.
Supplies:
- One or two Parallel Pens Size 3.8 and 6.0. Recommended colours: Blue Black, Yellow, Light and Dark Green, Turquoise Blue. You can purchase cartridge packs of 12 colours.)
- Paper: for experimenting, I use a Studio Sketch Book from Dollarama. Arches Text Wove. Canson XL watercolour paper also works well. Not all sketchbook paper or practice paper works. If the ink absorbs into the paper, the ink will not move when water is applied for some of the exercises we will do.
- A watercolour brush, I usually use a ½” edged brush and a small round brush Paper towel and water. (Check your local Dollar store. Needs to be specifically for watercolour).
